Returns and Refunds
At Tusk Healthcare you have the right to a 14 day return period after receiving in the post. This only applies if the product has not been used or tapered with the seal still intact. The packaging must remain in the same state that it left dispatch or it will not be accepted under the Distance Selling Act. The return is at the customer's expense and contact information can be found in our contact section. The cost of the product will be refunded minus the courier.
If the customer finds the product is defective or received the incorrect product Tusk Healthcare will replace with no extra cost to the consumer so long as the packing is not damaged and seal remains unbroken. If the product internally is damaged; notify us and we will determine the course of action needed. If at the fault of manufacturer and not due to transportation we will enter a refund/replacement protocol.
Upon receipt of the product, the consumer must check the package that it is in compliance with their order and that the packaging is sealed and unbroken. Do not accept a product if the packaging appears tampered, damaged or the seal is broken due to transportation.
In the unlikely event your order arrives damaged or with missing items you MUST inform us within 48 hours making sure you retain all packaging. If you inform us after the 48 hour period we will not be able to claim off our courier, therefore we will not be able to replace your order free of charge, hence why it is very important to inform us within 48 hours of receipt.
We cannot be held responsible for damage or shortages that are reported outside of this deadline as it may have been caused due to circumstances that are beyond our control.
To support your claim please send an email to customer.service@tuskhealthcare.co.uk with a short description of the damage or defective order and photographic evidence to allow us to claim off our courier.
It is VERY IMPORTANT that you send the following photos:
1. At least 2 photos of the damage and the packaging.
For your protection and to ensure prompt delivery, we recommend that you send your return via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery. We’re sorry, return shipping fees are not reimbursable unless the product is defective in any way and we will refund all shipping and postage costs.
Please include the following information with your return: indicate whether you want a refund (only if original receipt is included and the product was purchased within the last 14 days) or replacement, the reason for the return, a description of the item you are returning, and its price.
Your return will be processed promptly upon its arrival and all exchanges will be shipped via Royal Mail. Processing and transit time for exchange packages is usually 7-10 business days from the time your exchange request is received at our location. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding holidays within the UK.
If you require a full refund we will refund the price paid by you for the goods (exclusive of the initial delivery charge) within 14 days of receiving your returned goods, provided that you have returned the goods to us in their original condition.
Refunds will only be made against the original credit/debit card used or payment method.
